Quiet Army only works if you can check everything. These are the rules every mission follows.
What we publish for every mission
- The total raised and the number of people who gave.
- Every purchase, with the receipt.
- Card processing fees, recorded per payment at the exact amount Stripe charged. Backers can choose to add the fee on top so their full gift reaches the mission; otherwise it comes out of the gift.
- The delivery video and written confirmation from the organisation we delivered to.
- Anything left over, and which mission it moves to.
- The Wall: the name of everyone who took part, in the form they chose.
What donations never pay for
Running costs, equipment, travel or anyone's time. Those are covered separately, and if a mission is sponsored we say who the sponsor is. Progress bars and "items funded" only count money that actually reaches the mission, after card fees.
